Slate's Michael Crowley has a nice article outlining the many factions within the Kerry campaign, their political ambitions, friends and enemies. There's Ted Kennedy's crew facing off against the Clinton's former advisors and cabinet members. Kerry's decades-old network of Boston pols and advisors is clashing with the newer, Washington set. Then there's Kerry's family and his network of Vietnam veterans. Crowley does a good job deconstructing these various factions, identifying the major players and ambitions of each.Back to the Odd Hours main page
